The Center for Human Therapeutics (CHT) facilitates bench-to-bedside translation of preclinical biologics at the state-of-the-art current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) compliant facility at the University of Virginia (UVA).
The CHT cGMP facility is a dedicated multi-use clean room complex for the manufacturing and processing of cellular products, antibodies, viral vectors, and other biologics.
The CHT cGMP Core Facility offers:

| Gowning qualification |
Access to the GMP facility is restricted to authorized and qualified individuals. These individuals must meet the gowning requirements of initially passing 3 consecutive gowning qualifications in a one month period. Until these requirements are met, individuals are considered unqualified and may only access the GMP facility if escorted by qualified staff. |
